Calendar - upcoming events
Imari chorus performs regularly in and around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We are regular guests at the West Hallam Well Dressing event held every summer, and sing two sets in St Wilfrid's Church during the festivities.
We host two Chorus Fundraiser concerts every year - these help cover the running costs of the choir, including the hire of our rehearsal and performance venues, the purchase of new music, and payment to our wonderful musical director.
Some Imari Chorus members will be singing in 'This Man' a Modern Oratorio, composed by our Musical Director, Anne de Waal. The first performance will be on 14 March 2026 at Broadway Baptist Church, Derby. ​​​
Why not join us?
If you're interested in singing with Imari Chorus and would like to come along to a rehearsal to hear us practice, you'd be very welcome. We rehearse on Thursday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. You won't have to audition, and don't have to be able to read music either. Our wonderful musical director, Anne de Waal will ensure that you feel comfortable and are singing within your vocal range. We're a lovely friendly group and sing a wide range of music from all genres, some accompanied, some acappella.
