Calendar - upcoming events
We've been working hard rehearsing for our 2026 concerts and we're delighted to be singing again in St. Mary's Church in Ilkeston Market Place. It's such a lovely church with great acoustics and both the chorus and audience always receive a warm welcome there.
There is plenty of free parking close by and the nearest bus stop is Ilkeston Market Place, with regular services from the surrounding areas including Nottingham and Derby.
This will be a Chorus Fundraiser concert that helps cover the choir's running costs. Entrance is by donation, and there will a raffle and refreshments.

Why not join us?
If you're interested in singing with Imari Chorus and would like to come along to a rehearsal to hear us practice, you'd be very welcome. We rehearse on Thursday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. You won't have to audition, and don't have to be able to read music either. Our wonderful musical director, Anne de Waal will ensure that you feel comfortable and are singing within your vocal range. We're a lovely friendly group and sing a wide range of music from all genres, some accompanied, some acappella.
