Imari Chorus is an all female, non-auditioning choir based in Draycott, near Long Eaton on the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

We love the sociability of singing together.

We welcome all singers, from the very experienced to first time choir members. There is no audition requirement, and you don't need to read music.

All female vocal ranges are invited, from the highest soprano to the deepest contralto - and if you're not sure where your voice sits, our musical director will ensure you're singing within a vocal range that you are comfortable with.

We rehearse on Thursday evening - 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Despite the ongoing heat (what a summer it has been) we are now embroiled in sleigh bells, roasting chestnuts, jingling sleigh bells and snow. It feels very strange to be singing Carols in early September ... but we are already getting into the spirit of the festive season.

It's not too late to join us to sing with us over the festive season - we sing lots of old favourites and are just starting to learn new Christmas music, including a beautiful new Christmas Song composed by our Musical Director, Anne de Waal.

We meet between 7.30pm and 9.30pm at St Mary's Church Hall, Draycott. DE72 3PS.
